The Tamil Nadu Medical Selection Committee also published its Round 2 vacancy data on September 9, showing 4,862 MBBS and BDS seats open across government, self-financing, ESIC and private colleges. That breaks down to 2,960 MBBS and 1,902 BDS seats.

For BDS, government dental colleges have 82 seats under 92.5%, while self-financing colleges account for 1,101 seats. The 7.5% category adds smaller numbers across government, self-financing and private dental colleges.
